Tax Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee and manage the tax compliance and advisory services for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax regulation and be able to provide strategic guidance on tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance advice to high net worth clients
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff
- Conduct research on various tax issues and regulations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Coordinate with the IRS for any inquiries or audits
- Review and analyze tax documents for accuracy and completeness
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients' tax situations
Qualifications
- CPA certification is required
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulations
- Experience with high net worth individuals and international tax matters is preferred
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- EA designation and experience as a Tax Supervisor are a plus
